West College Scotland approached bluQube, looking for help getting a new finance system implemented on a quick timescale. We worked closely with the college to understand their full requirements and agreed we could deliver the system they needed. We fleshed out a tailored implementation plan with guaranteed time frames they could hold us to, all to a fixed cost. On the rare chance time might overrun, the college were safe in the knowledge the bill wouldn't grow with it.
Throughout the implementation, West College Scotland received weekly progress sheets so that they always had a clear view of where the project was up to, and together we could rectify any issues before they caused delays.
In order to meet the colleges desired timescale, we were able to train staff and have them working within areas of their system, while other areas were still being implemented. Not only did this speed up the overall process, not having to wait for full go-live before training could begin, but also gave the team a chance to give feedback on the way their system was configured during the build phase. They were particularly pleased to learn that whenever they logged a query with support, they always received a same-day response, unlike the wait times they had endured with their previous supplier.
In addition to the sales team and business consultants the college dealt with day to day, we provided West College Scotland with a direct line and regular calls with a member of the Senior Management Team at bluQube. A senior point of contact and company director, available to escalate issues to, should they ever need it. Keeping a single eye over the entire project to ensure things continued running smoothly.
A year on from a successful system implementation, West College Scotland were invited to join the bluQube Reference Site group. A select group of key customers and highly proficient users of the software, we continuously work closely with this group to identify future opportunities for software enhancements and scope out detailed system requirements. Ensuring bluQube continues to meet our customers' changing processes.
